DIASS, who stands out as a shining talent in the electronic music scene, shapes his music according to his own style, leaving a unique mark. Emerging as one of the names we will frequently hear in the future, DIASS attracts attention with his creative vision, which we had the opportunity to get to know better through a special interview. Standing out in the electronic music scene with his unique style and original approach, DIASS is a name eagerly followed by music enthusiasts.

AWL: You started playing music at a very young age. How did this early exposure shape your passion for music and your sound today?
DIASS: It was love of first sight - I found my uncle's trance techno CDs when I was 12 years old and I instantly fell in love with electronic music. Another major thing is I grew up as the son of a DJ - my father is also DJ-ing and since a kid I was next to him in clubs and parties, which really shaped my music taste and culture.
AWL: With over years of experience pushing your sound from your studio in Sofia to dance floors worldwide, what do you feel sets your music apart in the electronic music scene?
DIASS: I believe that if your own music gives you chills and makes you wanna dance or sing, it means you have created something nice. This is my philosophy when I start working on a new project, I create it for my personal taste. At the end of the day, you should be your own biggest fan, haha. I like experimenting a lot with sound, combining different cultural accents and elements that usually do not belong together.

AWL: You have collaborated with some top artists and vocal performers. Can you tell us about a particularly memorable collaboration experience and what you learned from it?
DIASS: Collaborations are one of the best ways to go out of your bubble and grow. We can learn so much from each other, this is one of the greatest gifts. One of my recent collaborations is with BAHÉ, who invited me to remix their single 'Subtle Realm'. The original track goes into the more pop/electronic genre, and I had so much fun creating a club version of the track, filled with curious twists and playful percussions.
AWL: Your music spans genres like Nu Disco, Melodic Techno, and Organic House. How do you maintain a unique sound while experimenting with various styles?
DIASS: I try not to put labels on anything, and that goes for music too. Combining different styles into something one-of-a-kind is a big challenge and passion for me. The most important thing is to tell a story with each track I create - it might be a love story, a summer fling story, a goodbye story, it can be anything.
AWL: You were in Istanbul the past week, What was the most memorable moment for you during your performance at the Chill Out Festival in Istanbul, and how do you think it will impact your future music projects and collaborations?
DIAS: I’ve been following Chill Out Festival for many years and I'm super happy for being part of this year's edition. I had the pleasure to open the main stage and it was amazing! Met many friends and artists that I like and even though the weather was a little bit moody, we had fun. Can't wait for the next one!

AWL: Can you tell Us about your latest project? ‘’Springish’’
DIASS: ’Springish' is a track, part of Nadav Dagon's latest EP on The Gardens Of Babylon label. When I was invited to remix the track I was very nervous, because Nadav is such a music genius and the expectations were high. As I mentioned before, I followed my inner voice and I went into a more indie/electronic direction, with a club approach and I'm super happy with the result. The remix is OUT NOW on all platforms!
AWL: Can you provide some insights into what’s next for DIASS? What can we expect from you in the coming months? Where can your fans catch you next? Do you have plans to come to Turkiye again?
DIASS: I just came back from Bonjuk Bay where I played for The SAMJA GARDENS OF BONJUK. Such a paradise, I will definitely come back again next year. Recently my new track 'Vagabond' was released by Scorpios Music label and it's already riding the Organic House chart of Beatport. Another cool project is SACRED SECRET - a DJ Set I recorded at Baba Vida Fortress in Vidin, Bulgaria. This is the 3rd episode of this series and it's also available for listening and watching on my Youtube and Soundcloud Channels!
Thank you for taking the time to give us this special interview.
