As Brazil continues to gain recognition in the global electronic music scene, new projects are emerging that captivate and surprise audiences worldwide. One such project is **From House to Disco**, a dynamic duo committed to delivering the finest in electronic music. Comprised of Bruna Ferreira and Lívia Lanzoni, this pair has spent over a decade behind the turntables, gracing renowned stages like Gop Tun Festival, Festa Rara, D-Edge, Piknic Electronik, Time Warp, Glitterbox, Amsterdam Dance Event, Drop Dance Society, and even the iconic Rock In Rio.

With a name that embodies their ethos, celebrates diversity and freedom in music, refusing to be confined by labels. Their tracks are infused with soul and groove, earning them praise from major artists in the industry. Notably, Renato Cohen has highlighted them as a project to watch in music production, while their track "Ode" gained significant traction, being played on the Glastonbury stage by notable DJs such as Palms Trax, Job Jobse, Tove Lo, and SG Lewis.
In recent weeks, From House to Disco has made waves with a series of remixes for the legendary **Definitive Recordings** label, originally founded in the 1990s by John Acquaviva and Richie Hawtin and now under the Get Physical umbrella. Their journey began in June with a remix of Blunted Dummies’ “House For All,” followed by two additional remixes in July—one for Barada’s “Gasoline” and another for Wax Fruit’s “Be Yourself.” The latest remix, released on August 2, is for Las Americas’ track “Look, Listen, Love.”
These remixes serve as a preview for the highly anticipated **Disco House For All** compilation, set to be officially released on August 16th, including a vinyl edition that marks the return of Definitive Recordings' activities in this format. The remix of “Look, Listen, Love” showcases the duo’s ability to transform the original into a seductive and infectious piece.
It’s important to note that the entire Definitive Recordings catalogue was previously available only on K7 tapes, which meant that there were no stems or digitized parts of the songs. To overcome this challenge, From House to Disco collaborated with fellow Brazilian artist L_cio to recreate these parts from the original tracks. The compilation features eight additional tracks, offering a deep dive into the rich catalogue of the Canadian label.
You can listen to the **Disco House For All** compilation on Bandcamp and experience the unique sound that From House to Disco brings to the electronic music landscape. Don't miss out on this exciting release that showcases the duo's talent and the vibrant spirit of Brazilian electronic music!
